My favorite hobby is playing basketball. My first memory was watching MJ play and then going into the backyard and practicing fadeaways against my older brother.

What are your future goals / aspirations (in your personal life and your walk with Christ)?

Share an interesting fact or talent.

    I’m a poet.

Describe your ideal date or outing.

My ideal date is one that is intentional. I like to plan an engaging experience for the both of us, based on our interests.

Tell us about a cause or charity that's close to your heart and why you support it.

I’m passionate about Christ and anything that furthers His Kingdom (including agreeing to participate in church fundraisers like this one lol). Outside of church, I support the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), because I love animals.

What qualities do you value most in a potential partner?

The quality I value most is genuineness. A genuine love for Christ. A woman who aligns herself with Christ and carries herself sincerely in that light. Hospitality and a healthy love for herself and those around her are things I look out for as well.

A charity close to my heart is Liberty in North Korea. It’s an amazing organization that works incredibly hard to bring attention to the human rights crisis in North Korea. I interned with them when I was in college and it was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

What qualities do you value most in a potential partner?

I most value emotional stability, a sense of curiosity and adventure.

      Pamela Araujo

What is your favorite hobby or pastime and how did you get into it?

I love to dance but more specifically to create choreography. I first learned about my love for dancing when I had to take a ballroom dance class in the 5th grade. I remember learning the waltz and as I was dancing, I felt so free and in tune with myself.

What are your future goals/aspirations (in your personal life and your walk with Christ)?

In my personal life, my ultimate goal is to help people and I believe God has called me to do that as a therapist. I have felt a pull towards therapy since I was a kid and recently I have been seeing therapy, in a new, softer light…a way for me to spread love like God has called us to. My spiritual goal is to develop such a strong relationship with God, that I can discern His voice from everyone else's.

Share an interesting fact or talent.

      I love to write poetry.

Describe your ideal date or outing.

My ideal date is possibly doing an activity together that can help me learn more about you. I would prefer an upbeat and fun activity, like an escape room for example but I also love a candlelit dinner, with some live music playing in the background where we can talk and learn more about each other.

Tell us about a cause or charity that's close to your heart and why you support it.

I'm not going to lie, I don't really have a specific cause I support financially. However, generally, I support any movement or charity that is out there with the intent of improving someone's quality of life, especially marginalized and oppressed communities.

What qualities do you value most in a potential partner?

The qualities I value most in a partner are genuine kindness and grace as we are both humans who are constantly learning, evolving, and improving throughout life.

My personal goal is to continue to climb the corporate ladder and help other young women of color along the way. My spiritual goal is to continue to strive for a deeper relationship with Christ and to be who He wants me to be.

A quiet candlelight dinner at a quaint restaurant.

Tell us about a cause or charity that's close to your heart and why you support it.

CUNY Citizenship Now is a charity that helps immigrants in the city to become U.S. citizens. This charity is close to my heart because as a first-generation American I have a deep understanding of the struggle that can come with acquiring citizenship in this country.

What qualities do you value most in a potential partner?

I value a man who is kind, a good communicator, a good listener, a provider, and values family.

      Erica Pauyo

What is your favorite hobby or pastime and how did you get into it?

I am a recreational runner. I got into the sport in 2019 after I joined a “work on your craft for 100 days” challenge. I chose to run one mile a day for 100 days… I am now a 5 time marathoner.

What are your future goals/aspirations (in your personal life and your walk with Christ)?

I want to grow in my relationship with Christ, but I’m looking to especially prioritize personal Bible studies and scripture memorization again. In my personal life, in the near future at least, I intend to pursue new avenues in my career. I aspire to be debt free, generate more streams of income, and to be a more effective athlete.

Share an interesting fact or talent.

I love museums. If I stay in a country or a new city for more than 24 hours, I’ll end up spending time in one. It’s a must!

Describe your ideal date or outing.

Funnily enough, I don’t have a specific one! I value being treated with chivalry and care. I appreciate when a date is initial and thoughtful when planning a date. Disclaimer: common sense still applies, for instance I will not go to a picnic, mid-summer in 90 degree weather.

Tell us about a cause or charity that's close to your heart and why you support it.

      Courtnie Drigo

What is your favorite hobby or pastime and how did you get into it?

Choosing a favorite is hard! I really enjoy being near or on the ocean. Despite my swimming skills being questionable, I’ll never say no to a boat ride. I also love to travel and meet locals all over the world. I was bit by the travel bug when I studied abroad in college.

When I’m not traveling, I enjoy getting lost in a good novel.

What are your future goals / aspirations (in your personal life and your walk with Christ)?

I’ll tell you more about my personal goals on our date. However, in my walk with Christ my goal is to always be invested in learning, growing and seeing God’s goodness.

Share an interesting fact or talent.

I once joined a steelpan band because I’m fascinated with the instrument.

Describe your ideal date or outing.

My ideal date is more about the person I’m with, than the outing itself. A great date for me includes lots of laughs, lightness, insight, openness and someone who enjoys me as much as I enjoy them. Bonus points for sunset views and ice cream!

Tell us about a cause or charity that's close to your heart and why you support it.

I am really invested in reforming the criminal justice system and in particular, breaking down the barriers people face as a result of having a criminal record. This cause is near to my heart because I really believe that people are redeemable and shouldn’t be defined by their worst moments.

What qualities do you value most in a potential partner?

Of course I hope that any potential partner has their own personal walk with Christ, but beyond that I really value deep thoughtfulness, intelligence, and someone who can enjoy a good laugh as much as a good conversation.
