Prayer Ministry

What does prayer mean to you? Is it a means to an end where we try to appease God to get what we want, a formality, a religious checkout, tradition, a way to avoid punishment or maybe a good luck charm?
MyGeneration Church is attempting to change those misconceptions by going back to the biblical meaning of prayer. The first time prayer is mentioned in the Bible was in Genesis 20 where God called Abraham to pray for Abimelech (verse 17)“Then Abraham prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech...” We find it significant that God introduces prayer into His Word by calling on His chosen to pray for someone else. Prayer is the process where God prepares us to do His will and a method of communication to connect with God on a deeper level.
MyGen is a body of flawed people seeking to do more of God’s will and we use the most powerful tool -prayer to connect with God and His people. We want to use this tool to uplift one another in times of need as well as be there when there is no immediate need.
When you , PRAY.

Dear friends,
I humbly ask for your prayers for Ha-young, Ye-young, Ui-seop, Jung-won, Eun-tae, In-sook, and your beloved ones. May God lead us, not on the paths we desire or know, but on the paths that He desires and delights in.
Please pray that while we are still in the flesh, we may cast away all idols, come to know God according to His written Word, and truly taste His goodness.
May this entire journey be guided by God's peace and protection, and may the undeniable transformation in all of us come solely through the one and only God.
Thank you for standing with us in prayer.

I pray for my little cousin who is navigating life without parental protection. I pray that God will be her mother and father and that she will have unusual wisdom for her age. I pray that God will multiply her intelligence, bless her mind and bring good adults including teachers that care into her life so that she may excel in school and in her work life to come. I pray that God will give me the means, wisdom and strength to support her even though we are far away. I pray that if God in His wisdom sees it fit to bring her to the US, that she will be able to come and live with me soon.
I ask God to heal my broken heart and to help me recover from disappointment. I’d also love for God to help me get excited about what is coming next. I pray that He’ll give me the grace to take care of what/who he’s sending.
