Love God’s Way
What is God’s definition of Love? What is God’s Love Language? How does God view love? How do we view, receive, and understand God’s love? Does God have requirements for Love? If so, what are they? How does God show that He Loves us? Most importantly, How does God show that He loves us?
Today from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM, we will intentionally focus on learning who God is in the context of Love, and accepting His divine love. Because of our past, our emotional experiences, and interpersonal relationships, we tend to associate God with the failed love that we experience here on earth. We forget that God’s Love is unconditional: He Loves us, and will Love us no matter what. His Love for us is eternal: from the day we were born until the day we die, or He sends His Son to collect us. God loves us so much that in Exodus 20:1-17, he gifted to us perfect laws that we are instructed to keep. Obedience is God’s Love language. Given our carnal nature, its hard for us to speak God’s love language because we don’t know His Laws. When our perception of God’s Laws change, we will be able to accept and receive His Love.

Verses for Meditation
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.Galatians 5:22-23
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the SpiritGalatians 5:25
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens mePhilippians 4:13
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails1 Corinthians 13:4-8
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.1 John 4:8
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.1 John 4:16
We love because He first Loved us.1 John 4:19
A time to love, And a time to hate. Ecclesiastes 1:8
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned but have not love, it profits me nothing. Love never fails.1 Corinthians 13:1-8
